July 1st and 2nd

She would score when the next batter, #15 Krysta H, would hit a hard grounder to the shortstop and still manage to get on base. The game would continue to be sound from the Avalanche on both sides of play resulting in a 10-3 victory over the Tigers.
In the second game of the day, the Avalanche took on the OC Nightmare in what turned out to be the best game of the tournament. The Avalanche would gain an early lead in the first three innings with the score at 8-2 at the top of the 4th. The Nightmare weren’t done and would fight back, scoring three runs until their play ended with a fly out to #17 Mackenzie G and a strike out by #55 Ava E. The game would go one more inning, with the Avalanche picking up three more runs and limiting the Nightmare to just one more. Final Score would be 11-6 and send the COFP girls to the Championship final.
The Girls would make quick work of the final game, ending play after three innings in a run-rule 11-0 victory of the Sweet Home Huskies.
