Rain-out keeps the Avalanche at home. Next up: 14U in Pendleton and 12U in Canby

Wet weather kept the Avalanche 14U off the fields in Beaverton this weekend and all games were cancelled.  They will now look forward to the Ashlee Hogden Memorial Tournament in Pendleton May 20 and 21.  The first game of the day is at Sunridge Middle School Field 1 against the Sting at 9:45 am.  Temps are expected to be in the mid 70’s and sunny.  See the forecast here.

The 12U squad will travel to Canby, Oregon on May 20 and 21 to play in the Canby Invitational, squaring up against 15 other 12U teams.  The schedule for Saturday’s game is here. It looks like the Avalanche will get underway against the Corvallis Lady Knights at 11:15 am on Saturday, followed by two more games of pool play to seed the Gold and Silver single elimination brackets on Sunday.  Forecast looks great for softball with mid 70’s and sunny skies.

Go Avalanche!
